Lauren Christie

Company Dancer

 

Lauren Christie (Company Dancer) grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she received her early dance training from the Ballet Memphis School. She graduated from American University with University Honors with a B.A. in Public Communication and French Language and a minor in Dance. Lauren has attended summer programs at Northwest Dance Project, Bates Dance Festival, Movement Research, and the American Dance Festival, where she had the privilege of performing works by Merce Cunningham and Twyla Tharp. 

 

Billed as “fresh and talented” by The Washington Post, Lauren has worked with Alight Dance Theater, Bowen McCauley Dance, CKM&A and Jane Franklin Dance, as well as with choreographers Peter DiMuro, Junichi Fukuda, and Wayles Haynes. Lauren currently resides in San Diego, CA and is in her eighth season with CKM&A .​
